AccessKC (Formerly KC Medicine Cabinet)
AccessKC provides basic dental treatment for tooth pain, diabetic supplies, durable medical equipment, hearing aids, prescriptions, and eye exams and glasses for low-income, underinsured, or uninsured residents of the greater Kansas City area.
AccessKC services are meant to fill short-term medical needs. Clients may receive assistance once in a 12-month period.
Potential recipients must provide:
• Photo Identification
• Social Security card, ITIN card, or other document (birth certificate, consular ID, etc.)
• Proof of household gross income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level for the past
30 days
• Proof of address for past 30 days
• Current prescription (or medical order)
