Cross-Lines Community Outreach is deeply disappointed by the delay in the distribution of SNAP benefits this November. These vital funds help families keep food on the table and meet their most basic needs, and any disruption has real and immediate consequences for our neighbors, especially as the holidays approach.
Once again, families are caught in the middle of political gridlock, forced to choose between paying bills and buying groceries. At Cross-Lines, we are working tirelessly to serve as many people as possible through our Community Market and Kitchen.
We encourage our community to come together during this critical time to support one another, donate, volunteer, and advocate for systems that ensure no one goes hungry because of political dysfunction. Together, we can make sure our neighbors have the food and stability they deserve.
