By the Numbers
As a snapshot of Cross-Lines programs, here are just some of our service statistics for 2020:
- More than 57,000 meals were served in our Community Kitchen
- More than 22,000 individuals received emergency groceries through our Healthy Choices Food Pantry. Approximately 35% were children
- Our Housing Stabilization team provided case management and more than $367,000 in emergency assistance to 1,474 individuals
- Our shower program provided a place for individuals experiencing homelessness to take more than 3,000 hot showers
- More than 15,000 boxes of shelf stable food were distributed to low-income seniors living in Wyandotte, Leavenworth, and Johnson County through our Senior Commodities program
- More than 270 individuals received case management services, allowing them to access more than $71,000 in medical assistance through the Kansas City Medicine Cabinet program
