Thrift Store

What We Do

Due to the coronavirus, the Cross-Lines Thrift Store is currently CLOSED. We are not accepting donations or doing pick-ups at this time. Please check back here or follow our Facebook page to receive updates regarding the Thrift Store.

The Cross-Lines Thrift Store is located on our campus behind our main offices in the new building at the corner of Shawnee Avenue and S. Coy Street.   It is a fun place to shop, and helps low-income families purchase essential household items — furniture, dishes, clothing, and major appliances — at reasonable costs.

All proceeds from the Thrift Store support our programs, providing approximately 12 percent of our budget.

Thrift Store hours:

Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Saturday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Cross-lines is always in need of donated items for the thrift store. Items in high demand include:
  • Large and small appliances in good working condition including washers, dryers, stoves and refrigerators
  • Furniture including sofas, dressers, kitchen tables and chairs
  • Bath & bedding and knick knacks
  • Housewares, dishes pots/pans
How to Donate to Our Thrift Store

Cross-Lines accepts donations at our store or will come to your house to pick up your large donated items. If you need to schedule a pickup at your home, please call 913-281-2274 and leave a message with your contact information.  We check messages several times a day and will get back to you within 48 hours of your message.
